Wonderful experience. I have the good fortune to be located just a few blocks from Proper Cloth, so was able to go get measured by Seph and look at the fabrics in person. The first shirt didn't come out quite right, but Seph was quick to remeasure and get me a replacement quickly... which fit perfectly. Looking forward to ordering more.

Even with all the great measuring instructions, I still messed up. Luckily Proper Cloth will alter free. Just got it back the other day and it fits well now. The quality seems high. I'm happy with it and I'll order again.

My 2nd PC shirt. First was a dress shirt, this one more casual. Perfect fit, great material. I used to buy a lot of my casual shirts from Vineyard Vines; I like their designs and reasonably slim fit, but they are a bit short for me (I'm 6'3".) Now I can order equally spiffy fabrics from PC and have enough length that I don't come untucked.

I had just been measured/fitted for some custom shirts from a local haberdashery, so I took one of those and measured it per the instruction on the Proper Cloth website. When the shirt arrived, it fit exactly like the customs I had made, the fabric was excellent quality, and it cost about 2/3 of what I paid for one of the customs. Since I am not a dummy, I will be ordering from Proper Cloth in the future rather than spending more money for a shirt I like less from the local men's store. Thanks!

Pinpoint oxford is quite heavy and wrinkles much easier than you would expect. Cloth is very hearty though, good shirt if you like to iron, comes out very crisp when pressed.

Seph does good business. Got sized by him personally. He knows his stuff. Set an appt. with him if you are in the neighborhood and you will get he best results on sizing and he is a down to earth guy you feel good with. I received my first shirt perfectly sized with no need for alterations - and it's awesome. My advice (especially for other people with no real foreknowledge of their size): try several of the sizing methods and reconcile them all into one size that makes sense given what you know about your own shape. I found that measuring shirts that I currently owned was the most helpful method.
